There's both good and bad news on the ageing front. Unfortunately we can't stop the natural ageing process as we all know. However! Intrinsic Ageing, which is the natural ageing process, accounts for only 10%. The even more encouraging news is the remaining 90% of ageing is influenced by External factors, known as Extrinsic Ageing. These factors include UV Rays, pollution, smoking, alcohol, caffeine, stress and nutrition, all of which we have control over. Ageing is a disease and is treatable. Ageing goes beyond skin deep, we must take into account our whole lifestyle. Our gut health is also linked with our skin's health. To achieve the best results, it's essential to nourish our skin from within, establish a proper and consistent daily skincare routine, and schedule regular facials.
Do you drink two litres of water and moisturise with thick creams everyday and your skin is still dry? Remember your skin is the largest organ of your body and it is the last to receive any spare water (and nutrients for that matter) after your body has provided it to your vital organs. We need to work with the skin cells to make them more healthy so that they start to lock in moisture within the skin.
Suffering with redness, heat, itching, sensitive skin? The protective external most important layer of your skin is compromised, and your immune cells are working in overdrive. We need to treat the skin gently and slowly build up to make the skin stronger and more healthy, from feeding the skin from within and also topically.
Is one of the most common yet most complex skin conditions to treat. Patience, dedication and commitment is required. We can work together and come up with a "battle plan" to win the battle against Pigmentation.
Not all acne is the same, and there are many triggers to acne. We have to be patient and committed. For best results to feed the skin from within and topically.
Is a long term inflammatory skin condition, with different causes and different types of Rosacea. If left untreated it will get progressively worse. Whilst Rosacea cannot be cured we can feed the skin from within and treat the skin topically to normalise the skin with the aim to reduce and keep under control.
